Smt. Bhagwati Devi Vishnoi, a freedom fighter and daughter of Shri Dhuliram, married the patriotic leader Shri Pyaarchand Vishnoi. Motivated by Hari Bhai Kinkar, she attended Khadi weaving training in Govindgarh. She carried out various activities, including distributing pamphlets, giving speeches, uplifting untouchables, and engaging in social reformation.
She participated in Satyagraha with Shri Hari Bhauji, Smt. Ramadevi, and Shri Ramnarayan Choudhury, and also worked for the upliftment of Harijans at the Nareli Ashram. She was arrested for participating in Satyagraha in Bhilwada and unfurling the National Flag at the Congress office. Despite having her young child with her in jail, she remained motivated and did not compromise on her moral values for the cause of the Indian Freedom Struggle. Attempts were made to persuade her to apologize to the authorities for her release, but she remained unmoved.
