Nellai Jebamani (Aged 82) was born on 1918, in Kurangini, Nellai district, Tamil Nadu. He was inspired by Gandhian principles and participated in the Indian Independence Movement. In the assembly elections of 1977, he stood as a candidate of the Janata Dal and won the Satankulam election. He passed away by 2000.
