Peer Mohammad Paavalar

Peer Mohammad Paavalar initially served in the police department under British rule, but later he became a freedom fighter for India. In 1923, he launched an individual Satyagraha against Kambam textile merchants, burning foreign cloth and declaring that they would no longer sell foreign goods. He also wrote patriotic poems and songs about Gandhi.
