Shivnandan Prasad Mandal

Sivanandan Prasad Mandal was born on April 18, 1891, in a Yadav family from Ranipatti village, which was in the erstwhile Saharsa district of Madhepura, Bihar. He was a freedom fighter and politician who played a crucial role in the Bang Bhang movement, the non-cooperation movement, and the salt movement. Mandal served as the first law minister of Bihar and was a member of the Bihar Legislative Assembly from 1952 to 1962.
