Tin Juggi Pandey actively participated in the Quit India movement. Along with a large mob, he raided the 19 UP Express at the Fatwa (Fatuha) Railway Station near Patna, Bihar. They dragged two intimidating Pilot Officers of the Royal Air Force out of the compartment and lynched them. The dead bodies were then carried and thrown into the Punpun River. Later, Tin Juggi Pandey and some others were arrested by the police and tried for the murders.
A lower court sentenced Tin Juggi Pandey to death, which was subsequently confirmed by the Patna Court in Bihar, India on 27 April 1943.
