V. Poosai Pillai (Aged 52), born in 1903 to Vaithiyanathan Pillai in Kalugumalai, Thoothukudi (Tuticorin) District of Tamil Nadu, India, actively participated in various social and political movements. His involvement included the toddy shop agitation, the Khadar movement, efforts to abolish untouchability, the Temple Entry movement, and Bhoomidana. Poosai Pillai utilized pamphlets and handbills for spreading awareness and propaganda. Notably, he was part of the Kalugumalai Murugan Temple Entry movement on May 20, 1947. He passed away on May 24, 1955.
