Yella Pandari lived in Aknoor village in the Jangaon taluka of Warangal district, Telangana, India. His father’s name was Ramayya and he worked as a weaver.
During a court hearing, Pandari revealed the atrocities committed by the Razakars against the villagers. In retaliation for his actions, the Razakars and the Nizam’s Police conducted a joint raid on the village in August 1946, during which Pandari and eight others were shot dead. This incident brought attention to the anti-feudal struggle led by the Communists in Telangana.
