Akram Hussain Saikia (Aged 46) born on 1898 in Jorhat, Assam, India. He was a notable freedom fighter, and was greatly inspired by Nethaji Subhash Chandra Bose and his Azad Hind movement. In 1942, he joined the Indian National Army (INA) and was later promoted to Deputy Officer.
However, while fighting against the British army, Hussein sustained serious injuries and eventually passed away in a Rangoon hospital in September 1944.
