Babulal Bhagat was a resident of Roshanpur village, Birbindi Police Station, in Bihar, India. His father’s name was Ramkilavan Bhagat. He actively participated in the anti-British struggle in 1942 and was shot dead by police on 19 August 1942 during a rally he attended to protest the British atrocities against activists of the Quit Whites movement.
