Bejoy Kumar Sinha (Aged 83), born on January 17th, 1909 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India, was a revolutionary along with his elder brother Rajkumar Sinha. They were ideologically very close to Bhagat Singh. Bejoy Kumar Sinha was convicted for life and spent several years in Andaman jail where he undertook many hunger strikes. He also wrote many books during his imprisonment. Despite personal tragedies in his life, he continued to fight for India’s independence. He passed away on July 16th, 1992, in Hyderabad.
