Bhai Bhan Sing, born in Suner, Ludhiana, Punjab, was the son of Sarran Singh. He was sentenced to transportation for life in the Lahore Conspiracy Case and the Trial Court pronounced its judgment on 13 September 1915. He was deported to the Andamans, where he was beaten to death by prison staff in a mad fury and lust for revenge, due to their anger at his attempt to overthrow British rule.
