Lal Padmadhar Singh

(1921 – 1942) – (Madhya Pradesh)

Lal Padmadhar Singh (Aged 21) a resident of Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, was born around 1921. While he was a university student at Allahabad, he took part in the Quit India Movement of 1942. On August 12, 1942, he led a procession of sudents in a demonstration against the government in Allahabad. Unfortunately, he was shot and received a bullet wound during the firing by the police near the District Courts. He passed away the same day.
