Naba Jiban Ghosh

Naba Jiban Ghosh, also known as Shalik, hailed from Midnapur, West Bengal, India. He was the son of Shri Jamini Jiban Ghosh and a member of the Revolutionary Party, actively involved in the movement against British colonial rule. However, in 1933, he was externed from Midnapur. Following this, he was arrested in Calcutta in February 1934 and then transferred to the Gopalganj police station in District Faridpur (now in East Pakistan) in 1936. Unfortunately, he was subjected to brutal torture by the police and succumbed to his injuries on September 23, 1936.
