Nikhil Guha Roy (Aged 86) born on 1888 in the Faridpur district, West Bengal, India. He was arrested in connection with the Shibpur (Nadia) Action of 1915 and sentenced to transportation for life. He was deported to the Andamans, from where he was repatriated and released in his early twenties after completing his term.
He became involved in the freedom struggle again and participated in the Non-Cooperation Movement. However, he was arrested once more, this time in connection with the Kandi Bomb Case in Murshidabad, West Bengal, and was convicted and deported to the Andamans for the second time in 1933. He was finally repatriated to the mainland in 1937 and released in 1945. He passed away by 1974.
