Sadubhau Pendharkar (Aged 28) was born in 1918 in the village of Karhad in Pune district, Maharashtra. His father’s name was Narayan Pendharkar. Despite being a student with a Master’s degree, he actively participated in the ‘Quit India’ movement, which began on 8th August 1942. Sadubhau was involved in the attack on the Shidoda railway station as a saboteur in August 1942, leading to his arrest and a sentence of seven years of rigorous imprisonment. He served his term in the Yerwada jail in Poona but died in detention on 12th April 1946.
