Salkhu Hembaram

Salkhu Hembaram was a resident of Kokrabandh village in Santhal Parganas, Bihar (now in Jharkhand) and his father’s name was Ondrop Hembaram. He actively participated in the Quit India movement of 1942 and was found guilty of setting a liquor shop on fire. He was arrested, convicted, and died while serving his jail term in Godda Jail.
