Samray Bisi Naik

Samray Bisi Naik was a tribal political activist from Maghargudu village in Malkangiri district, Orissa (Odisha). His father’s name was Malu Nayak. He participated in the Quit India movement led by Lakshman Naik. On August 21, 1942, while picketing in front of the Mathili Police Station, he was severely wounded by police gunfire and died along with nine others at the scene.
