Tulshi Ram Mali (Aged 56) born in 1868 in Dhumalwadi village, Akola tehsil, Ahmadnagar district, Maharashtra, India. He was the son of Ganga Ram Mali, a farmer. He actively participated in the popular agitation that began in 1918 against the oppressive actions of the Mamlatdar, the officer in charge of the Taluka. In 1918, he was involved in the attack on the Mamlatdar’s house and was subsequently arrested by the police for conspiracy and for taking part in the attack. He was sentenced to death and was hanged in Yerwada Jail in 1924.
