Vishnu Bhagwan was a resident of Tandur village, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. He was an Arya Samaj worker and actively participated in the Satyagraha movement for Civil Liberties launched by the Arya Samaj in 1938 in the Nizam’s territories. As a result, he was arrested and imprisoned in the Gulbarga, Aurangabad, and Hyderabad Jails. Unfortunately, he was seriously wounded in a lathi charge by the police inside the Hyderabad Jail on 2 May 1939, and he died the same day.
