Vishnu Hirekoppa, also known as Vishnu Kulkarni, was a resident of Hirekoppa, located in the Nargund Princely State (now in Gadag district), Karnataka, India. He actively participated in the Nargund revolt and is reported to have beheaded the British Officer, Manson, at Sureban on the night of 29 May 1858. However, he was captured and publicly hanged in Nargund in 1860.
