Yadunandan Sharma (Aged 79) was born in 1896 in Arwal, Bihar, India. He was an Indian peasant leader and national liberation figure from Bihar who started a movement for the rights of tillers against the zamindars and Britishers at Reora, which is celebrated as the Reora Satyagraha.
He left his education to join the Civil Disobedience Movement and was arrested, receiving a sentence of 16 months in 1930. Sharma went on to join the Kisan movement in 1933 and initiated the famous Sandako and Reora Satyagrahas in the 1930s. He passed away by 1975 in Gaya, Bihar, India.
